Concussed Crosby skates at Penguins practice facility

Penguins catain Sidney Crosby took to the ice at the team’s practice facility on Thursday, three days after suffering a concussion after Capitals defenceman Matt Niskanen cross-checked him in the head in Game 3 of their second-round playoff series. Pittsburgh coach Mike Sullivan didn’t reveal Crosby’s availability for Game 5 on Saturday.

Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby returned to the ice Thursday, skating with teammates Conor Sheary and Carl Hagelin at the Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry, Pa., as he recovers from a concussion.
