Women less likely to get CPR from bystanders, study suggests

CPR mannequin
CPR can double or triple the odds of survival for someone in cardiac arrest, but bystanders may feel ‘squeamish’ about putting their hands on a woman’s chest, researchers say. In addition, practice mannequins for CPR training are usually modelled after male torsos, they say.
