Students at Kelvin High School stock up on food after deciding to use their annual northern research trip as a chance to help their counterparts in Churchill, where prices have skyrocketed after rail service stopped.

A group of Winnipeg high school students have raised more than $1,400 and 400 kilograms of food to keep cupboards full at Churchill schools.
